Mint Slice Squares

Transform mint biscuits into this delicious chocolate treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g plain chocolate biscuits
  • 100 g butter melted
  • 2 packets (500g total) Mint Slice biscuits or other mint chocolate biscuits
  • 250 g cream cheese softened
  • 200 g chocolate melted
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 crushed candy canes (or other mint lollies) optional

Instructions
 

  • Grease and line a 19x28cm slice tin
  • Process plain chocolate biscuits into a fine crumb. Add butter and mix to combine. Press into slice tin and refrigerate.
  • Process Mint Slices (or mint chocolate biscuits) into a fine crumb. Add cream cheese and process until combined. Spread evenly over plain biscuit base.
  • Combine melted chocolate and vegetable oil. Spread evenly over cream cheese mixture.
  • (Optional) Sprinkle with crushed candy canes or other mint lollies.
  • Refrigerate until chocolate has set and then cut into squares.
  • Keep refrigerated
